Course Summary

This course is intended to give knowledge and understanding of basic hydraulic principles, components, functions, graphical symbols, and systems used in heavy machinery systems. The candidate will acquire skills to identify, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems during classroom and practical activities.

  • Explain the function of various hydraulic components
  • Have an understanding of hydraulic troubleshooting techniques
  • Explain how engine performance affects hydraulic performance

Appropriate high visibility work attire, safety glasses, safety boots & gloves.
