Course Summary

This course will provide you with a basic understanding of the energy efficiency provisions within NCC Volume One.

This course is aimed at all building professionals. Topics covered in this course include:

  1. Background & objectives of the NCC energy efficiency provisions
  2. An overview of NCC energy efficiency provisions including relevant, Defined Terms, Performance Requirements, Verification Method, and Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions
  3. An example of applying the NCC energy efficiency provisions for glazing
  4. Course Summary

Course Outcome: Upon completion of this course, you should have acquired a basic understanding of the energy efficiency provisions within NCC Volume One. This course can be taken in conjunction with the following:

  1. Australian Regulatory Framework for Building & Plumbing
  2. Using the NCC
  3. NCC Volume One
  4. Understanding the Performance-based NCC
  5. Understanding the NCC Energy Efficiency Provisions for Volume Two

A series of online closed questions that are auto marked; questions are directly related to the learning material covered in the course.

Participants are required to achieve a pass rate of 80% to successfully complete the course.

The course allows up to three (3) attempts to successfully complete all the assessment questions.

Participants will be sent a CPD certificate by email upon successful completion of the course materials and assessment process.
