Course Summary

This 4-hour workshop provides a detailed overview of the Timber Framing Code.

You will learn about:

  • The scope and application of AS1684 Parts 2 and 4
  • Basic Structural Design Principles
  • Structure of the Standard and how it is applied
  • Basic framing systems
  • Overview of the application of wall bracing
  • Tie downs

On successful completion of this short course you will be issued with a HIA Statement of Completion.
