Course Summary

Roof Plumbing Licence or Restricted Roof Drainage Endorsement Holders Only*

Holders of the relevant, current licence or endorsement include the following:

  • Practitioners
  • Certifiers
  • Contractors
  • Provisional Managers
  • Nominated Managers
  • Builders with the relevantendorsement^

^ The endorsement attached to the builder’s licence must be for prescribed, licensed roofing works.

KEY INFORMATION

This course has been developed in consultation with the Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS) for the purpose of:

  • professional development
  • knowledge refresh

The course has been designed specifically for holders of a current Roof Plumbing Licence or Restricted Roof Drainage Endorsement

COURSE PREREQUISITES

  • Current Roof Plumbing Licence or
  • Current Restricted Roof Drainage Endorsement
  • Basic computer skills
  • General literacy & numeracy

COURSE CONTENT

This course is made up of five modules:

  1. Introduction and Acknowledgements
  2. Roof Plumber Learner Guide and CBOS Requirements
  3. Overview of Australian /New Zealand StandardAS/NZS 3500 and National Construction Code (NCC
  4. Certifier sign-off (TAS)
  5. Course Completion and Feedback

Roof Plumber only licence holders—50% CPD requirement—These practitioners will be required to undertake two courses once every three years.

Restricted Roof Drainage Endorsement Holders - 3 points for each course – a total of 6 points - these practitioners will also be required to undertake these courses once every three years as part of their overall CPD requirements.
