Course Summary
▪ Recognise an emergency situation
▪ Identify, assess and manage immediate hazards to health and safety of self and others.
▪ Provide first aid and monitor the casualty’s condition in accordance with established first aid principles.
▪ Operate and use first aid equipment and resources.
▪ Perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
▪ Successfully coordinate evacuation of casualties and arrange support services in accordance with relevant principles and procedures.
