Course Summary
This comprehensive course shows you how to use the 2022 National Construction Code (NCC) for building, plumbing and drainage projects.
With examples from across all three Volumes of NCC 2022, it outlines important things to consider when applying and working your way through the technical and other NCC requirements, including how the NCC is adopted in relation to different types of work and projects, determining the relevant Performance Requirements and compliance options, and interpreting the language and provisions in the NCC 2022. On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
*Explain the relationship of the NCC with jurisdictional building and plumbing regulation.
*Understand some of the important considerations and questions for determining how to use and apply the NCC to a variety of different projects.
*Identify the types of technical and governing NCC provisions that may apply to building and plumbing projects.
*Recognise the types of language used in the NCC and how it affects the application of the Performance Requirements to different buildings and installations.

Determining whether the NCC applies
Transitions and finding which edition(s) apply
Identifying building classifications
Determining the technical and governing requirements
