Course Summary

Welcome to the self-paced online course ‘Compliance’

This course outlines how the PCA and AS/NZS 3500 series fit in the regulatory framework and illustrates the different compliance pathways, types and stages of plumbing and drainage systems that are covered by the PCA.

It consists of a range of interactive learning activities, with knowledge checks throughout and concludes with a short quiz at the end. The course is targeted at Australian building industry professionals and is estimated to take thirty minutes to complete.The course aims to:

Explain how the PCA is given legal effect;

Helps participants understand the relationship between the PCA and other volumes of the NCC, and the relationship between the PCA and AS/NZS 3500;

Describe what type of plumbing work the PCA covers; and

Assist participants to know what must be complied with to ensure PCA compliance.
