Course Summary
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the structure of the National Construction Code 2022 (NCC 2022) and the types of plumbing and drainage installations and buildings it covers.
- Explain how the NCC is given legal effect and how this may affect how NCC 2022 applies in different situations.
- Recognise important concepts for understanding the NCC including Governing Requirements and building classifications.
- Understand the performance-based nature of the NCC and the NCC compliance pathways.
- Identify some of the major changes to NCC 2022 compared to NCC 2019.
