NCC 2022: Volume Two & Housing Provisions

Course Summary

This 2-hour workshop provides an overview of the changes for Class 1 and 10 buildings and structures in NCC 2022, including the new Housing Provisions and changes to relevant Australian Standards.

Learning outcomes include:

  • An overview of the major NCC 2022 reforms of livable housing, energy efficiency and condensation
  • The complete renumbering and restructure of NCC Volume Two
  • An introduction to the ABCB Housing Provisions document
  • Timber framing, waterproofing (internal and external) and masonry changes
  • Changes to slabs and footings, glazing, steel framing, fire safety provisions, gutters and downpipes
  • Australian Standards amendments

Attendees will be provided with a copy of the HIA Summary of NCC 2022 changes compendium.
