Course Summary
This training course provides building construction and maintenance workers with a basic awareness of asbestos, where it may be found, its health hazards, and the safety control measures that should be applied to prevent exposure of workers and others.
You will learn:
- identification of asbestos or asbestos containing materials (ACMs) in the workplace
- health effects of asbestos exposure
- asbestos and the law
- duty of care
On successful completion of this short course, you will be issued with a HIA Statement of Completion.
