Course Summary
This First Aid training course is designed to give students the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge they need to confidently apply first aid and CPR in a range of situations. The delivery of this training includes but is not limited to the below:
- Allergic Reactions
- Anaphylaxis
- Asthma
- Basic Wound Care
- Severe Bleeding
- Burns
- Shock
- Cardiac Arrest
- Snake and Spider Bites
- Fractures, Sprains and Strains
- Poisoning
- Recognising and Responding to an Emergency Situation
- Identifying, Assessing and Minimising Hazards
- Providing First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in Accordance with Established First Aid Principles
