Course Summary
Course Overview – Fire Warden
This course is designed for the Wardens or Emergency Officers who are required to respond to any type of emergency in the workplace – including fires, bomb threats, chemical incidents and terrorism. These key people are responsible for directing and controlling an emergency response in their designated areas and, ultimately getting people to safety.
Warden/Emergency Officer Skills training is usually performed in conjunction with Chief Warden/Emergency Coordinator Skills Training and evacuation exercises to create a fully trained and competent Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). We recommend that your ECO members take part in these skill sessions at least every 6 months.
Course Overview – Chief Fire Warden
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the chief skills required to act in the role of Chief Warden during a workplace event / incident. It covers how to make decisions about the employees safety during a workplace emergency and trains participants in how to give instructions for responding to the emergency incident.
