Course Summary
This course covers skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces. It includes:
- the definition of a confined space;
- safe entry to undertake work including atmospheres and testing;
- safe work practices;
- confined space entry permits; hot work permits;
- risk identification and assessment;
- appropriate personal protective equipment; and
- emergency procedures.
Both theory and practical is covered in the one day course.
