Course Summary
This course is delivered in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act. It covers legislative requirements, duties of personnel, confined space identification, risk assessment, entry procedures, documentation, emergency procedures, atmospheric monitoring with gas detectors and the practical use of entry equipment.
Confined space entrants and stand-by persons who work in and around confined spaces. Accountable persons or those responsible for managing confined spaces, issuing permits or assessing confined space risks should also complete a Confined Space Management Course.
