Course Summary
In accordance with the Occupational Licensing Act 2005, all Gas Fitters who undertake LP Gas installations on caravans must undertake a refresher course before applying for a licence renewal.
This fully online, self-paced refresher course has been designed to help you meet the legislative requirements for licence renewal for LPG installation on caravans and is suitable if you are an existing Gas Fitter needing to renew your LPG Caravan Licence endorsement, or if you’re looking to update your knowledge and skills to meet work demands.
In this course, you’ll work through a series of structured learning sections based directly upon AS/NZS 5601.2:2021 and be required complete a quiz for each section. You’ll need to complete each section before continuing to the next.
Topics covered in the course include regulatory requirements, cylinder and appliance installation, ventilation and testing.
You will need to allow approximately 4–6 hours to complete the course content.
Our experienced Gas Fitting teachers will be available online or over the phone to answer any questions you may have with course content or using the online learning environment.
Upon successful completion of the online course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance which can be presented to the Licensing Regulator as part of your license renewal application.
