Course Summary
This is the fourth course in a series developed by Master Plumbers, Tasmania in partnership with Pointsbuild Pty Ltd to provide an explanation of the revisions that have been made to AS/NZS 3500.4:2021 Australian Standard.
It is intended for those working in the plumbing industry who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in this area.
This course is the fourth in a series of courses developed to provide knowledge of the changes to the AS/NZS 3500 Australian Standard.
The major revisions in each Section of AS/NZS 3500.4: 2021 will be highlighted to assist the learner to recognise and apply the changes. Text and images from each of the Sections are included in the course with the focus on Heated Water Services. This includes water temperature, plastic pipes and fittings, thermostatic mixing valves, solar water heaters, energy efficiency considerations, heat traps and testing and commissioning.
