Course Summary

Course Outline:

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to apply risk management processes in the civil infrastructure industry and is designed for those who carry out or assist in carrying out risk assessment in the workplace. It includes:

• Plan and prepare for risk management

• Identify and assess unacceptable risk

• Identify a range of risk controls which may eliminate or minimise identified hazards

• Analyse feasible risk controls, including resource requirements

• Plan risk management for selected risk controls

• Implement controls according to workplace policies and procedures

• Monitor and review risk management documentation Both theory and practical is covered in the one day course.
