Tassie Builders Blood(y) Challenge

Keystone Tasmania recently participated in the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood 2021 Tassie Builders Blood(y) Challenge from the 1st March to 31st May - to help build Australia's blood supply!

In those three months our team of 11 donated 35 times, saving more than 100 lives! With most of the team having never donated before, we are extremely proud of our efforts.

While everyone who donated throughout the challenge is a winner, we are incredibly honoured to be named Australian Red Cross Lifeblood 2021 Tassie Builders Bloody Challenge: Highest Donations, Highest New Donors and Highest Plasma Donations champions at today’s trophy presentation!

A small group of us accepted the wonderful trophy, on behalf of the whole team, from Lifeblood challenge coordinator Ann Harvey this morning.

A big shout out to Hutchinson Builders and Fairbrother who both were incredibly competitive and very tough to keep ahead of!

We would encourage anyone thinking about donating, to contact your local Australian Red Cross Lifeblood office or visit www.donateblood.com.au to check your eligibility and make an appointment.
