Course Summary
This course is provided at your facility or site and is delivered for you and your people using your equipment and facility, we require a minimum of 10 learners to run this course, the course is not a public course.
The training provides learners contextualised training and imparts the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights. The training is delivered to meet the requirements of the Resources and Infrastructure Industries training package.
Learners will be able to access and use the height safety equipment they are provided with safely and have the knowledge and competency to perform their work safely or stop when conditions change or are not safe.
This course is essential for people who are required to work at heights in the course of their employment.
This course prepares learners to undertake the assessment to obtain a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights and is delivered under an RTO partnership agreement.
Purpose:
- Identifying work requirements including Work Health Safety legislation
- Following company procedures
- Accessing and installing height safety-related equipment
- Risk assessment and hazard control strategies
- Performing working at heights
