Course Summary

Participants will develop skills and knowledge to undertake many facets of working where there is a risk of a fall.

As a result of this program, participants will be able to:

  • access, interpret and apply technical and safety information for working at heights
  • assess hazards and risk associated with working at heights and implement control methods
  • select, inspect, donn, doff and caring for PPE
  • identify the most appropriate safety systems for working at heights
  • correctly fitting, adjusting and anchor fall protection systems
  • perform simulated tasks safely at heights
  • dismantle, remove, inspect safety systems
  • Use R550 or 4:1 rope rescue equipment
