  • Strategies when undertaking bulk earthworks in contaminated land
  • Remediation options and requirements in contaminated land
  • Managing the commercial impacts on your project
  • Commercial impacts of material segregation and waste classification
  • Strategies and options when tendering, estimating and quoting
  • Tips on interpreting Waste Classification or Environmental Investigation Reports for the purpose of tendering/estimating
  • Common mistakes and lessons learnt

Learning Outcomes:

The attendees will learn how to manage waste in civil projects, including understanding the risks to the project, the team and the organisation. The course will cover practical details on how to implement a CEMP, the process of defining waste management, and provide strategic options and solutions when undertaking bulk earthworks.
