Course Summary

This skill sets address the skills and knowledge required for those responsible for traffic control on Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 environments as described in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.

The Traffic Controller 1 (TC1) course will run over 2 days.
The first day will focus on the theory aspects of the units with the 2nd day being dedicated to a simulated practical application/assessment.

Post Course requirements: within a 6-month period of completing the theoretical component of the course the student must log 20 hours of practical training experience on a live road, followed by a practical assessment (post completion of the 20 hours) being conducted in a live traffic scenario under supervision.
