Course Summary
This skill sets address the skills and knowledge required for those responsible for traffic control on Temporary Traffic Management Category 2 environments as described in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
The Traffic Controller 2 (TC2) course will run over 1 day focussing on the learning content and the assessment of the theory aspects of the units.
Post Course Assessment - Learners are required to complete 20 hours of practical training experience (work-placement) within 6 months following the formal instructional sessions of the course.
During work-placement‚ learners will be required to keep a logbook (provided) of their 20-hours of practical training experience.
The final practical assessment (post completion of the 20 hours) will be conducted in a live traffic scenario under supervision.
