Course Summary

This course aims to ensure successful candidates can safely and competently operate a Tower Crane on site. On completion of the course participants will be able to conduct risk assessments, perform pre-operational checks, plan lifting operations, operate the crane competently and shut down the crane.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Nationally Recognised unit of competency, CPCCLTC4001 Licence to Operate a Tower Crane recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). A Licence to Perform High Risk Work, class CT will also be issued upon application to WorkSafe Tasmania.
