Course Summary
The Traffic Management Designer 1 (TMD 1) course will run over 3 days. Throughout the course‚ theory-based assessments and activities will be completed.
The assessments comprises both theoretical and practical components. The practical (post-course) assessment requirements must be completed for declared Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 roads within at least 6 months of successfully completing the theoretical component.
There are three pieces of assessment associated with this Skill Set, as follows:
- Theory assessment, completed on-course
- In-class practical assessment, partially completed on-course and finalised post-course
- Workplace practical assessment, complete post-course
The Learner must be deemed satisfactory in all three pieces of assessment to achieve competency.
Post course – within a 6-month period of completing the theoretical component of the class, the learner must:
- Complete TMD assessment 1 (will commence in-class)
- TMD assessment 2
