Course Summary

This course will provide the participant with required knowledge and skills to identify TasNetworks Point of Supply isolation points, perform isolation and reconnection at the Point of Supply, identify defective assets/unsafe conditions & ensure the asset is left in a safe condition prior to departure.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have the required access authority, knowledge and skills to:

  • Prepare for access to TasNetworks Point of Supply
  • Identify hazards associated with operating TasNetworks Point of Supply assets
  • Operate TasNetworks Point of Supply assets to enable safe work on metering equipment
  • Identify defective assets/unsafe conditions
  • Understand National Energy Customer Framework (NECF) requirements
