Course Summary
This course will provide the participant with required knowledge and skills to safely access TasNetworks turrets, streetlight standards, pillars (excluding restricted keyed infrastructure) for the purpose of scoping a job & installing consumer main ready for connection.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have the required access authority, knowledge and skills to:
- Prepare for access to TasNetworks turrets, streetlight standards & pillars
- Carry out the safe removal of access covers
- Identify hazards associated with working around TasNetworks ground mounted assets
- Perform work around TasNetworks ground mounted assets associated with the Installation of consumer mains
- Leave TasNetworks assets in a safe state
This course excludes connection of consumer mains.
Participants will also receive turret access tools.
