Course Summary

This training course outlines the skills and knowledge required to control erosion and sediment using earthworks construction and other land forming activities and effectively measuring the current resource use and carry out improvements, including reducing the negative environmental impact of work practices. This course applies to individuals who work under general supervision and they undertake defined routine activities.

Upon successful completion, the candidate will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for:

  • AHCSAW203 - Conduct erosion and sediment control activities +
  • AHCSAW304 - Implement erosion and sediment control measures +
  • AHCWRK211 - Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices.
