Course Summary

The flagship St John Ambulance first aid course covers a comprehensive range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It covers the most common first aid injuries and illnesses. It is suitable for both people in the workplace and members of the public who want training in First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid, Workplace Level 2, and Apply First Aid).

St John Ambulance recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that first aid skills are renewed every 3 years and resuscitation skills (HLTAID009/HLTAID015) are renewed every 12 months.

If you are new to first aid or if English is your second language, the Two Day course is recommended for you.
