Course Summary

This course provides participants with the skills to manage the danger of accidental electrocution. It is primarily designed for electricians. After successful completion of this course you will be competent to rescue and provide resuscitation to a person who has stopped breathing or is unconscious due to low voltage electrical shock.

St John recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the
Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that low voltage rescue skills are renewed every 12 months.

Certificate
On successful completion of this course you will be issued a statement of attainment in:

  • UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel
  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
