Course Summary

Our “Negotiation Foundations” program gives participants an understanding of key negotiation concepts, an understanding of the process negotiations follow, and focusses on advanced preparation for negotiations including some key insights on constructive information exchange, the importance of trading & negotiation dialogue. The below are expected outcomes for participants.

  • Understand core negotiating concepts;
  • Get an understanding of the process that underpins all negotiations;
  • Understand power in negotiation & the negotiation continuum;
  • Understand the importance of constructive information exchange & trading;
  • Eliminate soft negotiation behaviours while maintaining relationships;
  • Use efficient dialogue & questioning to move negotiations forward;
  • Deal with conflict, aggression, and confrontation both internally & externally.
