Course Summary

This 2 day course has been designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to plan, develop, implement and maintain a health and safety (OHS) risk management system and the associated procedures, processes and tools within an organisation.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe and apply the legal requirements for OH&S risk management.

Develop, implement and use OH&S risk management processes, tools or techniques, including for risk assessment.

Plan and implement OH&S risk management for compliance with relevant OH&S legislation, codes and standards, including ISO 45001:2018.

Identify and assess psychological health and safety hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to eliminate or minimise the risks.

Identify and assess workplace hazards and risks.

Eliminate or if not control workplace hazards and risks using the hierarchy of controls.
