Course Summary

The Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training is designed for elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs who have requested approved training to gain a greater understanding of the management of the Work Health and Safety Act (2012) and its application to their role as an HSR.

Includes

  • WHS legislative framework
  • Consultation, representation and participation
  • Issue resolution, support for HSRs and managing risks
  • Workplace inspections, notifiable incidents and incident Investigation
  • PINs and directing cessation of unsafe work

This course is Tasmanian Government approved.
