Course Summary

This course is the refresher course for the full Workplace Health & Safety Rep course.

The Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training is designed for elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs who have requested approved training to gain a greater understanding of the management of the Work Health and Safety Act (2012) and its application to their role as an HSR. This course includes:

  • WHS legislative framework;
  • Consultation, representation and participation;
  • Issue resolution, support for HSRs and managing risks;
  • Workplace inspections, notifiable incidents and incident Investigation;
  • PINs and directing cessation of unsafe work;
