Course Summary
The grid-connect skill set offered by Volt Edge has been designed for licenced electricians (or those holding the pre-requisite units) who want to obtain accreditation from the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
This will enable them to access incentives offered by the Federal Government for solar panel installations.
The course on offer meets the requirements of the regulating body, the Clean Energy Council, for accreditation.
To be eligible to undertake the course you must currently hold an Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
Course Delivery
- Brisbane – delivered 5 days over Live Web Zoom 1 day you will attend Northgate for your practical otherwise you can complete on the job (conditions apply).
- Melbourne – delivered over 5 days completely face to face.
- Other locations – if you are unable to attend either of these locations you can attend training 4 days over Live Web and complete your install under the guidance of someone who holds their CEC accreditation in your location.
Live Web requirements are:
- Computer or laptop
- Steady internet connection
- Speaker
- Microphone
- Webcam
- Microsoft Word
- 2 monitors are recommended to ensure in the ease of your access
- You can use a desktop computer or laptop to do your course work and 2 screens are highly recommended
