Course Summary
This course will also provide you with the skills and knowledge to manage a casualty involved in performing a rescue from a live LV panel. In the emergency situation in which the casualty requires CPR, you and your employees will have the lifesaving skills to manage the situation until emergency services arrive.
Aswell as Provide first aid in an ESI environment will give you the skills and knowledge to perform First Aid in an Electrical Services Industry environment. It covers dealing with electrical burns, bites or stings, shock, bleeding and electrical shock and;
Perform rescue from a live LV panel, giving you the knowledge, skills and training to perform a rescue from a live LV panel. Students will undertake two units of competency – CPR and LVR. The unit UETTDRRF04 Perform rescue from a live LV panel covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the work place.
