Course Summary
Course Outline: This course covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct dozer operations that safely, effectively and efficiently follow workplace procedures including:
- prestart checks prior to commencing operations;
- driving and operating the equipment, including adjusting techniques to suit site conditions;
- completing operations to specification;
- selecting, fitting, testing, using and removing attachments;
- using appropriate communication techniques and signals in line with site procedures;
- written and verbal reporting requirements associated with equipment operations;
- shutdown procedures on completion of operations; and
- site clean-up requirements.
