On Friday 6 May 2022, the Civil Contractors Federation Tasmania hosted their Fifth Annual Women in Infrastructure Gala Dinner at Crowne Plaza Hobart.

The first annual Multicultural Tasmania Employer Conference will be held on Thursday 7th July at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hobart from 8:30am-1:30pm.

In partnership with Keystone Tasmania, Four Quadrants Consulting (4QC) has developed the Next Step Business Skills Coaching Program to help the Tasmanian building and construction industry build resilience and sustainability for long term success.

HIA recently partnered with Savant Australia to deliver and complete Part A of its Mentoring Program (Mentoring the Mentor) in Tasmania. This was the inaugural run for the program and by all accounts it has been highly successful. This program would not have been possible without vital funding from Keystone.

HIA’s Apprenticeship scheme has launched in Tasmania, enhancing its national reputation as a leading Group Training Organisation while encouraging more Tasmanians to pursue careers in the residential construction industry.

With a Labor win at the weekends federal election and a recently re-elected Tasmanian government we have a clear path ahead for the construction industry.
