Course Summary
This course covers the skills and knowledge required operate a skid steer loader to load, haul and distribute materials.
Skid Steer Training Courses are designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct skid steer loader operations safely.
Skid steer training includes:
- Planning and preparing
- Conducting machine pre-operational checks
- Operation of skid steer loader including stripping/spreading topsoil and materials, lifting, loading vehicles, excavations, mixing materials
- Selecting, removing and fitting attachments
- Relocating the skid steer loaders
- Carrying out machine operator maintenance
- Cleaning up
