Strategic Project Manager – Workforce Development

Brett has nearly 20 years’ experience in the building and construction sector, having worked in architecture, building design and civil construction. His qualifications in Civil Engineering (Diploma) and Work Health and Safety (Diploma), and experience in consulting bring a rich perspective on the realities of working and learning in Tasmanian’s building and construction industry.

Brett has experience in other industries and has been Owner Director of several small businesses specialising in fitness, wellbeing and leadership coaching.

Brett enjoys being part of a team with a strategic direction and helping people achieve the best they can. He has achieved this though leadership and management roles in business and leadership and coaching roles in sport. Brett’s knees continue to allow him to play Hockey competitively, and he is current Deputy Chair of Hockey Tasmania.

As a creative thinker and problem solver, with an eye on what the future could be, Brett is skilled at designing and implementing plans and process for positive change. He is excited to be working with the dynamic team at Keystone Tasmania developing the building and construction industry’s workforce, and wants to see new entrants into the industry cement long-term, satisfying careers.
